The musical adaptation of fan-favorite TV series Smash heads to Broadway, featuring a score by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, a book by Rick Elice and Bob Martin, direction by Susan Stroman and choregraphy by Joshua Bergasse.
Stroman has established herself as a powerhouse director and choreographer, having been nominated for Tony Awards with numerous wins for almost all of her work on Broadway since 1992's Crazy for You. She won the Tony Award for choreographing Contact despite being nominated against herself, then walked away with both an award for Choreography and Directing for 2001's smash-hit, The Producers.
